The wine is made by the Vignerons de la Noelle, whose cellar is in Ancenis, half way between Nantes and Angers. The cellar was founded in 1952 and the wine is made by Franck David, who studied locally and has worked in both Muscadet and Sancerre - he is very much a white wine specialist. The cellar is very well equipped with the latest technology which enables them to bring out the extremely expressive aromas of fruit and white flowers.

If you want something crisp, fruity and very sippable, then Tallowwood Creek Colombard is just the tipple ... almost Sauvignon-like in style but not so over powering. Founded over 60 years ago it is now owned and run by dynamic winemaker Bob Berton who has invested heavily in both the cellar and the vineyards.
