It was created in 1993, and has won many awards in its short life, including six gold medals at the Challenge International du Vin at Blaye-Bourg and four trophies at the Citadelles du Vin in Bordeaux. Adolfo Hurtado is chief winemaker; he joined the company when he was 26 and has twice been awarded 'Winemaker of the Year' by the Chilean Food and Wine writers association. At 32 he was the youngest ever to be honoured! Aldolfo believes passionately in environmentally friendly methods in the vineyard, and much of the winery's vines are certified organic.
