Miranda Golden Botrytis Halves 2002
Miranda Golden Botrytis Halves 2002 - £11.15
Price on from Laithwaites.
Ever since De Bortoli's Noble One took the sweet wine world by storm in the 1980s with its Sauternes-beating intensity and finesse, the Riverina region has been recognised as having great dessert wine potential. We adore Miranda's Golden Botrytis and Members have been buying it avidly for years. The 2002 is perhaps their most amazing creation to date winning Winestate magazine's coveted 'Sweet Wine of the Year' award. Like molten marmalade and quince jelly with citrus-burst acidity and nigh-on perfect balance. Very reasonably priced for what is clearly a world class wine.
